A lovely summer’s evening provided golfers with perfect conditions for competing for the McMillan Salver. Winners were Alan Robertson and Andrew White with a score 26.75 with runners up John McIntosh and Gregory White on 27.5 followed by Paul Stelmaszuk and Gillian Kitson knocked into 3rd position with 28.25. A successful Gents Open day was held with 26 competitors having travelled from far and wide. The course prepared well by Robert Strang, Greenkeeper, stood up well to the extreme weather conditions of Heavy rain after the dry spell.
