An excellent turnout of 19 teams competed for the Kilbrannan Shield today in an Open Mixed Texas Scramble, kindly sponsored by Kintyre Gin. A fantastic £200 was raised at the Ladies RNLI Day – well done to all but special thanks to Gail for the organising and producing an amazing afternoon tea enjoyed by many.
The Ladies team playing in the Tarcarra Cup match against Tarbert on Sunday did well to retain the cup with a 3-2 win. The Tarbert ladies were superb hosts for the day and thanks go to them for the lovely food before and after our match. The rain and midges even stayed away !

We couldn’t have asked for a better day for the Cordiner Cup. Once again this fabulous competition was bathed in sunshine. With a strong turnout from near and far the top scores were very close.
