The Rose Bowl was presented in 1982 by Bobby and Lorna Neilson when for the first time in history of the club that husband and wife had been captain of their different section.  Bobby and Lorna have enjoyed mixed foursomes competitions over many yearsand itwas thought a greensome competition  would encourage more people to play.  The Rose Bowl was given to reflect the family’s love of Carradale.
