There was an excellent turnout for the annual Neilson Rosebowl nine-hole mixed greensome. Iain Neilson presented winners Lindsay McGeachy and Hamish McCaig with the trophy. Runners-up were Jeannie Astill and Paul Davis followed by Eilidh Neilson and Alan Robertson in third position.

A total of 30 ladies from Machrihanish and Dunaverty joined with Carradale Ladies for their annual Interclub Day on Sunday, 24 April 2016. A successful competition played in good conditions, with friendly rivalry always a feature of this event. The Ladies Section held a Quiz Night on Friday 12 February in the clubhouse. Over 20 ladies attended and the quiz was run along ‘similar’ lines to Pointless.
