Carradale golf club annual President V Captains match was a very successful morning. We endured all types of weather! Fifteen hardy participants played for the Presidents potty the winning team was the Captains – not even with Belle Robertson playing for my team could we manage victory! A great fun afternoon was had by all at the Ladies Greensome today. The winning combination of Laura McGeachy and Lorna Campbell took the top slot with Gail Macintosh and Emma Borthwick the runners up. Despite the blustery winds the Harbour Day was enjoyed by many. The golf club had a putting challenge which was supposed to be for children however many adults couldn’t resist the test – although not many were successful. The Club Championships were held over the last two weekends and resulted in a record breaking win for Jamie Campbell. In the Gents section (played over 72 holes) congratulations go to Greens Convener Jamie Campbell who won the Championship Cup (Scratch) for a record breaking 12th time.
