“A wee gem of a course offering amazing 360 degree views”

With stunning panoramas across the Kilbrannan Sound to Arran, Ailsa Craig and on a good day to Ayrshire, our nine hole golf course has something for every ability - and presents enough of a challenge for even the most experienced players.

About the club

The sweet spot where high handicappers are not overwhelmed, but good players are punished if they try to overpower the course and miss wide. Carradale nine hole links is studded with outcroppings of rock, which threaten a wild bounce on many holes, most memorably at the difficult par-3 7th. No less than seven of the nine holes are between 200 and 300 yards in length.Tom Doak, Golf Course Architect (July 2016)

Club history

Golf has played such a large part in the life of Carradale over the last 100 years, particularly for holiday makers and visitors to the village. Indeed, the comments made by Rev MacLeod are as true now as when first expressed by him in The Courier in 1906!
